About the Seminar
Nanci Ross will provide an overview of S.P.I.R.E., an Orton-Gillingham based reading intervention program designed for your struggling readers, students with specific learning disabilities, and nonreaders. In this half-day seminar, you will learn about:
- Multisensory, Orton-Gillingham based instruction and addresses the five pillars of literacy
- Addressing the needs of your struggling readers, at-risk readers, and students with risk factors for dyslexia

Nanci Ross is a special education consultant who provides research-based reading instruction professional development to various school districts throughout the U.S. to include screening and dyslexia. Nanci earned a Master’s Degree in Special Education with emphasis in Reading Disabilities from Utah State University. Nanci specializes in reading instruction and is Wilson Reading and Language Level 1 certified and is a Certified Dyslexia Diagnostician.
